Faruk Yalçın Zoo (Faruk Yalçın Hayvanat Bahçesi) is Turkey's largest private zoo, located in Şile on Istanbul's Asian Black Sea coast. Opened in 2009 by businessman Faruk Yalçın, it covers 60 hectares of forested hillside and is home to over 1,500 animals from 250 species — making it one of the most impressive private wildlife parks in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
