The Łódź Zoo is a zoological garden established in 1938, home to over 2,200 animals representing more than 650 species. It is the only zoo in Poland that houses endangered Asiatic lions. The highlight is the Orientarium, opened in 2022, which is dedicated to the fauna and flora of Southeast Asia and features the largest underwater tunnel in Poland with over 1,300 marine creatures including sharks.
