Taiwan's Mountain Theme Park and Cultural Heritage Site
Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village (九族文化村) is Taiwan's most distinctive theme park, perched dramatically in the mountains beside Sun Moon Lake in Nantou County, central Taiwan. Since opening in 1986, it has combined a genuine aboriginal cultural village showcasing Taiwan's 16 indigenous peoples with a full-scale European-themed amusement park — a uniquely Taiwanese combination found nowhere else.

🪃 Aboriginal Culture Village
The park's cultural section recreates traditional villages of Taiwan's 16 recognised indigenous peoples:

- Hunter's Path – Traditional aboriginal hunting trail experience
🚡 Sun Moon Lake Gondola
The park connects directly to Sun Moon Lake — Taiwan's most beautiful lake — via a spectacular gondola descending 900 metres to the lakeside, combining perfectly with a Sun Moon Lake visit.
