Yokohama's Hillside Zoo Overlooking Tokyo Bay
Kanazawa Zoological Gardens (よこはま動物園 金沢動物園) in Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama, is one of the three main Yokohama metropolitan zoos, set in a dramatic hillside location overlooking Yokohama Bay and the Miura Peninsula. Unlike its sister zoo Zoorasia, Kanazawa focuses on large hoofed animals and megafauna, with spacious enclosures carved into the forested hillside.
