South America's Largest Water Park
Beach Park is the largest water park in South America and one of the largest in the world, located in Porto das Dunas, Ceará, approximately 22 kilometres east of Fortaleza on Brazil's northeastern coast. Opened in 1986, it has grown into a massive resort and entertainment complex attracting over one million visitors annually.
World-Class Water Attractions
Beach Park is internationally renowned for the scale and quality of its water attractions. The park holds multiple records and has been listed among the world's top water parks by international travel publications.
Signature attractions include:
- Insano – one of the world's tallest water slides at 41 metres, with a near-vertical drop reaching speeds of 105 km/h. It held the Guinness World Record as the tallest water slide in the world for many years.
- Volcano – a massive enclosed body slide
- Serengeti – wave pool of enormous proportions
- Boomerang – high-speed enclosed tube ride
- Kiddie Pool areas – extensive shallow water zones for young children
Resort Complex
Beyond the water park, Beach Park has developed into a full resort destination:
- Beach Park Hotel – oceanfront hotel accommodations
- Beach Park Acqua Club – members-only beach club
- Restaurants and food court – a wide range of dining options
- Shops and boutiques – beachwear and holiday retail
Stunning Natural Setting
The park is located on the spectacular Porto das Dunas beach, where white sand dunes meet the warm turquoise waters of the Atlantic. The combination of world-class water park infrastructure and a genuinely beautiful natural beach setting is what makes Beach Park unique among the world's major water parks.
Northeast Brazil's Premier Destination
Fortaleza is one of Brazil's largest cities and a major domestic and international tourism hub. Beach Park is the flagship attraction of Ceará's tourism industry, drawing visitors from across Brazil and from abroad, particularly from Europe and the rest of South America.
